Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Deep experience in designing and delivering solutions using modern software engineering practices and cloud technologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for learning about new technologies and applying them to solve customer challenges.
  • Business level of Japanese and English skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in asset-heavy industries such as manufacturing, automotive, transportation, retail or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with AI and data modernization technologies.
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects.
  • Business level Korean language skills.

    Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical programs that drive the development of high-impact solution patterns and open-source software assets.

  • Collaborate with engineers from both Microsoft and customer teams to design and deliver cloud-based solutions.

  • Ensure technical alignment of ISE activities with Microsoft's worldwide industry and product group strategies.

  • Nurture an engagement pipeline aligned with Microsoft's strategic goals.

  • Coach and mentor engineering teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Work closely with Microsoft product teams, partners, and open-source communities to empower customers to do more with the cloud.
